MEET DAN GIFFIN
As a well-experienced producer and performer, Dan Giffin has taught Grammy-winning artists the ins and outs of making music with Live and Push. He is an Ableton Certified Trainer, and has trained staff at major companies including Sweetwater and B&H Audio, as well as thousands of students at universities across the United States. Dan currently produces music under the artist name Philia, hosts the Ableton Music Producer Podcast, and is the Founder of Live Producers Online.
Dan started training at a young age as a jazz drummer, which later translated into performing live drums to remixes of electronic music. He specializes teaching subjects like mixing techniques, creative production workflows, beat making, sound design, recording, and more in Ableton Live.
